Beautiful Weather

Today it is beautiful outside! When I got up it was in the 30's but the temp is climbing....the high is expected to be in the 70's! When I see all of that snow up North it makes me grateful that I live where I do! Although we could use some of their rain.....it's dangerously dry here! Certain fireworks are banned this year, but as always some idiot will set some off and will start a fire--happens every single year!

More Animal Activity

I have attached today's animal picture.......three deer at our feeder. They let me get pretty close this time. Their male companion wasn't with them tonight--BUMMER! The picture isn't that great since it was getting dark but I'll attach it anyway!

Animal Activity

Living out in the South Texas Brush Country it is not unusual to open your door and find wildlife nearby. A few weeks ago we heard a scratching on our front door. Upon investigation we discovered a skunk.....GROSS! It meant no harm I guess and took off as soon as we made some noise.

Just a couple nights ago we saw a nice young buck in our back yard. Too bad hunters will probably kill it before it is able to mature. I also had some turkey's in my front yard...I shot a picture as they took flight. I'll try to attach it so you can see the beautiful birds!!!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS! I have finally finished my 2008 Christmas cards! What a relief! I hand make all of my Christmas cards.....all 47 of them! Yes, it takes a great deal of time but the end result is so worth it!

I used Stampin Up materials to create my 2008 Christmas card. I am a Stampin Up Demonstrator so I have lots of Stampin Up products! My new favorite is the BIG SHOT die-cut machine. I used the Birds & Blooms Sizzlits Die as well as the Top Note Bigz Die for my cards. I think they turned out beautiful! What do you think?
